Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Receives Princes and Officials

The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today princes; sheikhs; senior scholars; ministers; high-ranking officials; members of the Regional Council, Municipal Council and Councils of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Makkah, Jeddah and Taif; and a group of citizens from Makkah region.
At the beginning of the audience, they all listened to a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran with interpretation of their meanings.
They all greeted the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Prince Salman delivered the following speech:
In the name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Gracious,
I am pleased to receive today citizens from this dear region of Makkah and other parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is an honor for this country to serve the Two Holy Mosques and work as it can for its stability, prosperity and progress.
All Muslims look at our country and turn their faces to the Holy Mosque in Makkah five times every day. This is an honor and a pride for us, but it is a great responsibility shouldered by us. Since the foundation and unification of this State ,under the banner of 'There is no God but Allah', and under the leadership of late King Abdulaziz (May Allah bless his soul), followed by late Kings, until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, this State has been working for the comfort of its citizens and preservation of the security and stability of this country topped by the Holy Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.
We are all one people and one family without distinction or discrimination. The Kingdom, from west to east and south to north, has been enjoying security and stability due to its adherence to the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah which are the constitution of this country. I convey to you the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. I wish you all success. '
