Presided over by its speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 50th ordinary session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Fahad bin Metad Al-Hamad, Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, said that the council discussed a number of issues on its agenda. Majlis Al-Shura discussed a report of the Committee of Islamic and Judiciary Affairs on divergent views between the Shura Council and the Cabinet on the amendment of some articles of the proceedings before the Board of Grievances pursuant to Article (17) of Majlis Al-Shura. The council listened to the viewpoint of the Committee of Administration and Human Resources regarding membersâ€TM opinions on the request to amend Article (39) and the abolition of Article (233) of the Labor law, and the draft rules dealing with the arrivals of violators of regulations. The council agreed to amend article (39) and the abolition of Article (233) of the Labor law. Majlis Al-Shura approved the draft rules dealing with the arrivals of violators of regulations which contain 14 provisions. Al-Shura council discussed a report of the Committee of Transport, Communications and Information Technology on the annual reports of the General Authority of Civil Aviation for the fiscal years 1430/1431H - 1431/1432H. Then, the council discussed a report of the Committee of Health and Environmental Affairs on the annual report of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for the fiscal year 1430/1431H.
