Spain geared up for the start of their World Cup qualifying campaign by sweeping to a 5-0 friendly victory over Saudi Arabia on Friday night. The 2010 world champions set out on the long road to Brazil with a game in Georgia on Tuesday and they will be full of confidence after an impressive performance against Saudi Arabia. Arsenal new boy Santi Cazorla broke the deadlock for Spain midway through the first half and Pedro promptly doubled their advantage. There were a host of changes in the second half but that did not halt Spain's momentum as Xavi made it 3-0 on 47 minutes. David Villa added a fourth from the penalty spot just after the hour mark and Pedro grabbed his second of the night in the 73rd minute to complete an emphatic victory.
