The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Safa palace here today Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, General President for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques and the accompanying delegation. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also received members of the Presidential Committee of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue led by its Vice President Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Nassif. The King received also Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, who is also the President of the General Assembly of Makkah Establishment for Publishing and Printing and its members. The Custodian of the Two Holy also received Minister of Haj Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Hajar, the Haj Ministry's officials, heads of private institutions of Mutawafeen, guides and Saudi automobile Association. The King concluded his audiences, by receiving Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, who is also the President of Dawah Committee in Africa, accompanied by its members. During the audience, Secretary General of the African Scholars Union, Dr. Saeed Bin Mohammed Baba Sylla delivered a speech in which he expressed delight of meeting the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Addressing the King, Dr. Sylla said that 'Muslims all over the world solemnly look to your initiative and your generous invitation to the kings, presidents and heads of Islamic countries to hold the summit of Islamic solidarity in Makkah'. Then, Minister of Hajj Dr. Bandar Hajar congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the advent of the last ten days of Ramadan and expressed, in his own name and on behalf the Ministry's staff, thanks and gratitude to the King for offering them the opportunity to greet him and to listen to his wise directives, in order to take them as guidelines to serve pilgrims and Umrah performers alike. The minister said that Umrah performers toll from outside of the Kingdom has reached about six millions, this year. After that, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques addressed the audience, expressing thanks to the members of Dawah Committee in Africa for their tremendous efforts and firm willingness to raise the tolerant Islamic doctrine, an objective of every Muslim, and that 'what you are doing to serve Islam and Muslims, is obvious to us.' 'For that I thank you and your deeds, wishing you all success.', the King said. The audience was attended by the Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Prince Abdul-Illah bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Faisal bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; a number of princes and senior officials. The audience attended Iftar (Breakfast banquet) ceremony held by the King. After Iftar, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was briefed, in the presence of Minister of Culture and Information, on the developmental steps of Makkah Est. for Printing & Publishing under the support and patronization of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Saudi press. Then, the King received the annual report of activities of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue of 1433 A.H (2012), which was included a comprehensive presentation for its national meetings, preparatory workshops, training courses and symposia. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques asserted the importance of dialogue in establishing, strengthening national unity and achieving consensus and cohesion between the sons of the same society. The King also said that the most important feature distinguishing the Saudi society is maintaining its religious values??, rallying around its leadership, and committing to unity of the nation, confirming that the national dialogue has had a major role in the promotion of belonging and convergence of different views. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques urged everyone to follow-up such approach and stay away from sectarian and intellectual classifications, and not to use the language of exclusion in a society grew up on the tolerant teachings and values of Islam. Also, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques pointed out to the importance of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue in instilling the values ??of moderation, tolerance and love in the society, making clear that such values ??stem from values of Islam. For their part, the members of Presidential Committee of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue expressed their great thanks and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince for their permanent support to King Abdulaziz Center.
