A File of Three Industrial Cities Under Discussion in Saudi Arabia

During a visit tomorrow to the Eastern Region's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a meeting with industrialists, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry for Industrial Affairs and Director General of Saudi Commission for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah will discuss an important File on three industrial cities in the region.
Chairman of the Industrial Committee and member of the board of directors of the region's Chamber Salman bin Mohammed Al Jishi said that the file will facilitate a panel discussion as Dr. Al-Rabiah will hear the views of the industrialists and the challenges they face.
A report issued by the Information Center in the Chamber said that the eastern region is home to 994 factories with investments exceeding SR 192 billion. More than 127,000 workers are employed in these factories, according to an official data released in 2009.
