The woman, outside the closure evidences
Published in Alriyadh on 02 - 10 - 2011

First, a whole reality of more than 90% of the citizen believing in the importance of the woman's reach to her equality positions in her work roles, interests and her idea-spreading sites. The other 10% are either not bothered by the case, or others that are backward in their old concepts that are unbelievable to be right if compared to the modern development manifestations in which the woman in the Arab and Islamic countries benefited from.
Aren't those Muslims too? Then why did they get into the lead of the Islamic cultures?
Another side, what are the sources of supporting Al Qaeda organization members in their harsh criticism, isn't their overlapping with the path of the general rejection to any scientific and cultural development similar to any religious closure in any society? Let us think about how Bin Laden used to dress before his bloody emergence and how those who are in his leadership position now dress such as Sheikh Thawahri and who's surrounding him?
Second, comparing the situations o our society and what the development used to get through of strange backwardness obstacles, didn't a notable mufti say before nearly fifty years, that those that have a radio in their homes are the same as those that have a prostitute in their homes? Didn't opening schools for female students go through a lot of hard and funny obstacles? Where for example a Najdi city hosted an educational representative to open the first girls' school and he was faced with rejection; then he heard that they got a fatwa that allows killing him if he insisted opening it, and he escaped to Riyadh at night, and the man is alive and I know him personally.
Despite that we are in front of providing the noble, generous and lawful opportunity for the woman to achieve her membership in the Shoura Council and Municipalities Councils, we are living a public joy with a crashing majority, and we published supporting views of notable religious scholars with their knowledge in important cultural and Islamic countries. Then what is said or might be said of rejection forms of this great development are not important to be stopped at, as they are a part of that old backwardness, and is the woman just a body without any awareness or mind?
In a previous article last Wednesday I mentioned that if it is required to surround the woman to maintain her honesty then the condemned of domination, if applicable, will not be anyone but the man, especially that the woman currently has a confirmed presence in hospitals, universities and international cooperation centers. In fact, many youths in our pasts wouldn't be able to achieve the success of their generation after the success of their selves if it was not for the noble care of motherhoods.
