Muslims welcome the first day of the month of Ramadan

Muslims in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other world countries welcome the month of Ramadan today, Monday 1/ Aug, with emotions filled with praise and thanks to Allah that they reached the month of Ramadan, praying to Allah that he accepts their fasting, prayers and good deeds. The Royal office announced yesterday what the Higher Court stated that Sunday was the completion of the 30 days of the month of Shaaban 1432 H, 31 July 2011 AD, and that today Monday August 1, 2011 is the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan, obeying what the prophet said of fasting for seeing the crescent and breaking the fasting for seeing it too.
