The executing company of the Mecca clock finished installing the biggest gold coated crescent in the world at the peak of Mecca clock, where it lights during Athan using 21,000 lamps that emit bright lights of green and white and can be seen from up to 30 kilometers from the tower, which indicates the prayer timings. These indications enables people with special needs, with hearing issues for example, or those that are away from the holy mosque to know the prayer timings. The diameter of Mecca clock is 46 meters while its height reaches 402 meters from the mosque's square, and it can be seen and heard from long distances. The name of Allah tops the clock from the four sides also. The project includes 4 clocks for the four sides of the tower, two of which are main, with 80 meters height including the name of Allah, and a width of around 65 meters. Their diameter is about 39 meters and the Mecca clock will be linked to the biggest time center in the world including London, Paris, New York and Tokyo.
