The Charge daffier of the embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Nabil Bin Hussain Ashri denied the existence of Saudi citizens in Thailand prisons pointing that the embassy is doing its best efforts to resolve the problems of the citizens that fall for their ignorance of the law of Thailand, and he requested from the victims at the same time to contact the embassy as fast as possible. Ashri warned from traveling to Thailand, which is considered a violation and exposes the traveler to the announced fines by the specialized authorities in the Kingdom. On the other hand Ashri clarified that the trial in Bangkok is still running to interrogate the witnesses in the case of the businessman Mohammad Al Ruwaily where five of the senior police officers from Thailand are accused due to them kidnapping and killing him in 1991 in Bangkok. He also assured that the embassy is closely following up the case in all its phases to ensure that justice will be achieved and that the given efforts of this issue engendered the case and was given to the court which is considered a diplomatic Saudi success and an attention from the Kingdom to follow up its people in the outside.
