"Anatolia Eagle" practice concentrated on electronic war and strategic attack. Turkey: Saudi air force participates in the biggest scenario that simulates real war. Konia, Al Riyadh – Mohammad Al Ghunaim The events of the mutual practice (Anatolia Eagle-1) started yesterday in the Republic of Turkey between Saudi and Turkish air forces and with the participation of multiple advanced countries in the area of modern mutual air operations. This comes within the training plans and programs that were set earlier by the Saudi Royal Air Forces to polish and develop the skills of air force, administrative and technical crews that would aid in supporting the readiness of our air forces. This participation is also in compliance with the invitation by Turkey to the Saudi Royal Air Forces for what it has of development in all devices and crews and for what the Saudi pilots have of potentials and high qualifications to reach professional performances. The events of the practice yesterday were oriented around performing a lot of training flights that included defensive and attacking counter operations, strategic attack operations, air support operations, participating in search operations, tactic rescuing and training on aerial refueling operations. All of the participating countries concentrated on planning and mutual executing of the fighting operations, following by that the latest systems and concepts of mutual operations area of the advanced countries. Saudi Air Forces participated in an event in the first practice show Anatolia Eagle practice concentrated on training in advanced electronic wars environments and exchanging experiences with the participating forces in this area because of the major role that electronic war plays in resolving air battles and to enhance the experiences and abilities of Saudi air force and technical crews. Anatolia Eagle practice is considered to be one of the strongest practices that was performed by our air forces where it participated with multiple of Saudi military aircrafts such as the multitasking (F15) along with its whole crew including pilots, technicians and support crews and its refueling aircraft (KE – 3a) and transport aircraft (C-130) that belongs to Saudi Royal Air Forces. American Air Forces aircrafts such as (F16) also participated along with Spanish Air Forces aircraft (F18) and Jordanian Air Forces aircraft (f16) in addition to the host country Turkey that participated with all its combat systems and aircrafts. What is worth mentioning is that Anatolia Eagle Center in Turkey is the only air war center in Europe that is able to provide a training environment similar to real wars, and it gradually changes from a simple war scenario in the beginning of the practice to a complex scenario towards the end of the practice.
