GCC Secretary General Condemns Attack on Saudi Diplomatic Mission In Iran

The Secretary General of the Cooperation Council For the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah today strongly condemned the unjustified attack on the diplomatic mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In a statement issued here this morning, Al-Atiyyah said that these irresponsible acts are in breach of all laws, international conventions and diplomatic norms, including the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
At the same time, he said the Iranian authorities will be held fully responsible for the protection of all members of the Saudi diplomatic mission in Iran.
