Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met here on Saturday evening with Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior currently on a visit to Kuwait. At the outset of the meeting, the Kuwaiti Emir asked Prince Naif to convey his greetings and congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud for his safe return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after a successful therapeutic trip abroad. The Emir also sent his greetings to Crown Prince Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. Prince Naif expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Kuwaiti Emir for inviting him to attend Kuwait's national celebrations on the occasion of its 50th anniversary of independence, 20th anniversary of the liberation, and 5th anniversary of the ascension of the Kuwaiti Emir to power. Prince Naif congratulated Kuwaiti government and people on these occasions. During the meeting, they exchanged cordial talks and reviewed issues of common interest between the two sisterly countries. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense; Prince Khalid Ibn Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs; a number of senior officials; and Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fayez.
