The 2017 Green and Red Flags' exercises between the Saudi Royal Air Force and United States Forces, with full crews of pilots, technicians and assistants, started today in the United States. Pilot Maj. Atallah bin Humaid Al-Osaimi said that the beginning of this exercise aims to develop the skills of the air crews, in support functions and create a scenario that simulates the movements of the surface forces, in virtual fields, in the territory of the United States of America, supported by US ground forces and training in joint operations. On the other hand, Captain Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Harthy said that the green flag exercise is held at the same time with the exercise of the red flag, with the American forces and friendly forces, which are about dozens of flights of air missions to the ground carried out with the American side, friendly forces and with fighters in the ground. It is worth mentioning that this exercise was prepared in advance with full readiness to gauge pilots know how in regard to this task and to prepare fully to gain high skills of combat, in all art and professionalism.
