The recent images of one of the leaders of the so-called Houthi Popular Committees have highlighted the vast wealth of Houthi criminal gang leaders, while the Yemeni people are on the verge of famine and the cholera epidemic kills one Yemeni per hour. An image showed one of their leaders amassing millions of Yemeni riyals in the basement of his house with joy. Sources inside Yemen said that the leaders and supervisors of the so-called Popular Committees affiliated to the family of rebel leader Abdul Malik Al-Houthi are competing in purchasing luxurious homes in affluent neighborhoods of the capital Sana'a as well as luxurious cars for them and their children. The images that appeared on the social media sites showed Houthi militias and their leaders' disrespect for the Yemeni people suffering from these criminal gangs that looted the central bank's cash reserves, salaries of 1,200,000 employees and salaries of pension and social security funds, transferred financial revenues to Maran caves and imposed illegal levies under various names throughout the year to steal citizens and traders.
