Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said yesterday, on Thursday that the decisions issued by the emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers held in Cairo on the attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque will be transferred the United Nations. In a press conference after the meeting in the presence of Algerian Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel, Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malki, he said that "I will seek to inform the UN Secretary of these decisions." Aboul Gheit also expressed his confidence that the foreign ministers will have contacts with the US side and the United Nations officials to assume their responsibilities towards the decisions made.
