Saudi National Campaign for Supporting Brothers in Syria has, through its offices in Turkey and Lebanon, continued to provide bread for Syrian displaced and refugees in northern Syria and northern Lebanon as part of the Campaign's food project. The campaign aims at the displaced people in the governorates of Idlib and Aleppo and their villages as well as in the neighboring camps where it distributed inside Syria, during the 194th week since the start of the bakeries therein, about 1, 272,000 loaves of bread per week benefiting about 556,000 Syrians. The production of the bakeries in the Lebanese area of Akkar within the 31st week amounted to 136,920 loaves of bread per week benefited 6,864 Syrians. The total production capacity of the five bakeries; four of them inside Syria and one in Lebanon amounted to 1,400,000 loaves of bread per day benefiting 604,422 Syrians. The head of the Campaign's Office in Turkey Khalid Al-Salamah said that this project is one of the most important projects of the relief campaign to serve displaced Syrians because of its significant impact on the provision of bread food, which is basic of the family in the Levant. For his part, the Campaign's Regional Director, Dr. Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Samhan stressed that, in light of the continuation of the Syrian crisis for the 6th year in a row and the increasing need for food for displaced Syrians , the Saudi campaign is going on to provide Syrian brothers with all necessary relief needs.
