Jeddah-based Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned the terrorist attack which took place earlier today on a security patrol at Al-Massura quarter, in Qatif Governorate, killing a security man martyr and injuring others. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, Secretary General of OIC, expressed strong denunciation of such repeated terrorist acts at Al-Massura neighborhood targeting security men while on duty to preserve public security and order. Al-Othaimeen confirmed the support of OIC for the measures Saudi Arabia takes to combat terrorism, dry up its sources and for its position against terrorism and extremism. He extended condolence to the families of the martyr, the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing the inured a quick recovery. Also , the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and UAE strongly condemned the terrorist attack, and stressed Bahrain and United Arab Emirates stance with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all actions and measures taken to maintain its security, stressing the need for concerted efforts by the international community at all levels to ensure the eradication of this serious scourge that threatens all countries of the world. Ministries of Foreign Affairs expressed sincere condolences to Government, People and the families of the martyr, wishing a speedy recovery to all injured.
