Mohammed bin Mahmoud Al-Ali, Saudi ambassador to Tunisia, and the ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Bahraini Charge d'Affaires accredited to the Republic of Tunisia met here today with Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui. During the meeting, they discussed procedures and steps taken by the four states on severing diplomatic and consular relations with the State of Qatar in light of its commitment of maintaining its national security, combating terrorism, drying up sources of funding terrorism and countering extremism. The heads of diplomatic missions stressed their countries' keenness on the interests of the Qatari people, pointing out to the exerted efforts considering the humanitarian cases of the joint families between Qatar and their states.
