The Saudi Embassy in the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo continues implementing King Salman Iftar (breaking Fast) Program in Balkans. The program is being carried out annually by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in a number of countries around the world where it provides 25,000 meals during the holy month of Ramadan 1438 AH (2017 AD). The religious attaché in the Embassy Dr. Abdul-Majid bin Ghaith Al-Ghaith said in a statement that this program is an extension of the work of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the month of the good and giving. He pointed out that this year's Program launched at King Fahd Mosque in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which more than 400 people break their fast daily at the mosque. He further said that the program covers a number of Balkan countries including: Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece and areas in Belarus.
