White House Spokesman Sean Spicer commended the results of the visit of President Donald Trump of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He said in a daily briefing yesterday that the US President began his first foreign tour as President of the United States to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his address at the Arab-Islamic-American Summit held in Riyadh was a historic turning point to unite the civilized world in the war against terrorism and extremism and isolating the Iranian regime which caused most of the violence in the region. Spicer pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and a number of leaders delivered distinguished speeches during the Arab Islamic- American Summit in which they stressed the importance of the meeting of many leaders of Islamic countries and their recognition of the need to combat extremism. He said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, during his speech at the summit, shared President Trump in his determination to reject extremism and work to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. US Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Stuart Jones has praised the results of the visit of President Donald Trump of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He pointed out that the Global Center for Combating Extremism "ETIDAL" launched in the city of Riyadh aims to combat the ideology of extremism, reveal and refute it in cooperation with other governments. Jones confirmed that the United States of America shares the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of security to face the threats in the region specially that being originated from Iran and said, "We want for our Saudi security partners to have what they need to secure their borders and region and send a strong message that we will stand with our security partners." He expressed his worry about the Iranian influence in Syria, saying "We do not see the Iranian presence there in order to reach a political solution or a security solution for Syria and it is clear that one of the sources of extremism, the terrorist threat, comes from Iran, and this part comes from the Iranian regime which does not respond at all to Iranian voters."
