The index of major Saudi stocks closed today, up 6.88 points to close at 6947.36 points, and trades worth more than 3.7 billion Riyals. More than 313 million shares were traded, with more than 74,000 shares making gains in 94 stocks, while 66 stocks closed lower. Wafa Insurance, Sadeq, Asig, Al-Mazraa and Dar Al-Arkan were the top gainers, while Saudi Ceramic, Al-Saqer Insurance, Metlif AIG Arabia, Khadri and Jarir were the most heavily traded at 1.91%. Dar Al-Arkan, Al-Enmaa, Rajwa Al-Haramain, Saudi Re-insurance and Saudi Kayan were the most active. Saudi Arabia's benchmark index closed up by 55.93 points to at 4304.48 points, with trades worth more than 1.8 million riyals. The number of shares traded reached more than 86,000 shares, with 205 transactions.
