Flynas has launched new domestic flights between Abha and Qassim as the demand for this sector is expected to rise in the coming summer vacation season. Ticket sales for the new flights, which will take off in both directions on May 25, began early this month. There will be two weekly flights on Saturdays and Thursdays. The Abha-Qassim flight will depart at 14:20 pm, while the Qassim-Abha return flight will take off at 16:40 pm. Commenting on the new flights, Bandar Al-Mahana, Nas Holding Company CEO, said, "The southern region is an important destination for domestic tourism. It receives a large number of tourists annually, especially in the summer. So, we decided to start our flights between Abha and Qassim at this time to meet the demand from our traveling guests." Flynas has won the operating license of the Abha axial airport, which will allow it to expand steadily by opening new routes to Abha. It will operate a 164-passanger Airbus A329 aircraft, with economy and business classes.
