The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah Palace here today President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita of Republic of Mali. He was also received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region. The President was received in an official ceremony; the national anthems of the two countries were played and he reviewed the guard of honor. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques held a luncheon banquet in honor of the President and his accompanying delegation. The reception and banquet were attended by a number of princes, ministers and senior officials. After the reception, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a session of official talks with President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita. At the outset of the session, the King handed over to the Malian President ''King Abdulaziz Necklace'' and received from him the Highest Medal in the Republic of Mali. During the meeting, they discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in various fields and ways of enhancing them. The session was attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, and Saudi Ambassador to Mali Masoud bin Ali Al-Orabi Al-Harthi. On the Malian side, it was attended by Minister of Security and Civil Defense General Salif Traore, Minister of Religious Affairs Thierno Amadou Omar Hass Diallo, and a number of officials.
