The Qassim police have unraveled the mystery of a 45-year-old woman who disappeared while she was out with her husband. Qassim police spokesman Maj. Badr Al-Suhaibani said Al-Russ Province police received a call on Sunday night about a missing woman who was last seen with her husband. Search teams discovered the corpse of the woman this morning in an agricultural area in the northern part of the Al-Russ province. The death appeared to be a result of injuries caused by assault. The husband, a 55-year-old Saudi confessed to his crime without giving details. Preliminary investigations suggest that the husband suffers from psychological disorders. Meanwhile, the Madinah police have arrested a man for involvement in the burning of four vehicles in the city. Madinah police spokesman Maj.Hussein Al-Qahtani said his department was informed by the Civil Defense of four cars burnt in different areas of the city, apparently due to arson. With the help of forensic evidences collected from the scenes of the crime and information available, the security patrols identified the perpetrator and arrested him in a record time. A search of the vehicle he was driving at the time of his arrest revealed a jerry can filled with petrol, gloves, and a lighter. The perpetrator was said to be suffering from a psychological disorder. He was referred to a psychiatric hospital for examination.
