If science fiction has taught us anything, it's that the relationship between humans and robots is not always an easy one. Clinical psychologist Linda Blair, writing in the Telegraph yesterday, said: "When anyone mentions robots, more often than not our immediate reaction is to feel anxious and suspicious, to conjure up frightening scenes from Blade Runner." However, there were no such worries for Rayna, the young star of a new viral video, when she ran into a 'robot' on the street near her home recently. Except it wasn't a robot. It was a broken household boiler. But don't tell that to Rayna, who is clearly delighted with her new friend, giving it a big hug before saying: "I love you robot." The video has been viewed close to 400,000 times since appearing on YouTube earlier this week.
