Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Li Huaxin has described Saudi-Chinese relations as historical and advanced in the modern era, and they are historically deep-rooted. He said that the modern diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Peoples Republic of China were founded in 1990 and since that time, they have advanced in great and rapid pace until they reached today the comprehensive strategic relationship between the two countries in various fields, which was announced during the visit of the Chinese President to the Kingdom early last year, 2016. The Chinese Ambassador noted that this comprehensive strategic relationship between the two countries came after a number of mutual visits between the leaderships of the two countries stressing their keenness on the growth and development of relations.
