The 57th Venice Biennale Exhibition has invited Maha Malluh to be a participating artist at its 57th edition, making her the first Saudi to receive such an invitation. Saudi Arabia's last and only participation in the Biennale was in 2011. The honor has come to Malluh after a series of achievements to her credit, including selling her works to the British Museum, the Tate Modern in London, and the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris. Malluh's art works are currently on display at two world galleries, Salma Verriani Art Gallery in London and Krizneger Arts Gallery in Vienna. Malluh is the only Saudi female artist whose work is on display at the open-air museum in Jeddah. Her works mainly express her thoughts on life in Saudi Arabia.
