Published in Alriyadh on 24 - 02 - 2017

LG G6, the successor of the LG G5, has been the subject of several leaks and rumors. Official teasers which have been shown off recently also shared the expected features of the flagship smartphone one at a time.
As the launch of the LG G6 slated for Feb. 26 draws nearer, leaks pertaining to the smartphone are gathering momentum.
On Feb. 18, tipster Evan Blass, shared on Twitter the case renders of LG G6.The leaked images showed off the upcoming smartphone's design and features from all angles. Now, Blass has shared yet another image of the LG G6, which shows off a black variant of the handset.
Leaked Render: What Does It Reveal
The images leaked by Blass shows of the black variant of the upcoming LG G6. The images looked like official press renders and shows the impending smartphone featuring rounded display corners with an 18:9 screen aspect ratio.
The upcoming smartphone is also seen featuring minimal side bezels, asymmetrical top and bottom bezels, dual rear cameras, as well as a fingerprint scanner embedded on the back panel of the smartphone (beneath the rear cameras).
The images also reveal that the phone will come with a metal body andwill be taller than usual form factor.
LG G6 Rumored Specs
The impending LG smartphone is expected to sport a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2880x 1440 pixel. The phone may likely come pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and could house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.
Quite interestingly, LG may have been forced to use a Snapdragon 821 chipset due to the fact that Samsung may have called dibs on the entire first batch of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 processor.
Thus LG was left with very few options in its hand which included either housing a Snadragon 821 or pushing back the launch of LG G6.
The impending smartphone is also expected to have two 13MP rear cameras, out of which one will be equipped with a wide angle lens to facilitate 125 degree view of the field. Users may also expect wide angle viewing in the front camera as well, though the angle may be restricted to 100 degrees only.
LG G6 may have a battery of 3.200 mAh and a recent teaser lauched by LG showed that the upcoming smartphone will be water and dust resistant.
Per a Tech Times report, the company confirmed that LG G6 will come with a new feature called Full Vision display technology. This technology will facilitate users with maximum viewing comfort and will give them differentiated experiences.
LG Launch And Release
LG will officially announce LG G6 at a pre Mobile World Congress event on Feb. 26 in Barcelona, Spain. Rumors are rife that the upcoming LG smartphone will hit some markets in March 2017.
