The situation in Yemen is changing rapidly. Reports indicate that the Houthi rebellion, led by former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, is losing steam. Yemenis are yearning for peaceful days, after having gone through a catastrophic era brought about by Iran and its blood-thirsty pawns. The Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope are military assignments with a wider mission: to reinstate legitimacy to the country and restore the glory of a nation that was a well-known trade route for centuries. It is only a question of time before Yemen will regain its Arab identity. Yemenis will once again be able to proudly contribute to the development of the country. They are preparing for a future where it will once again play a leading role in the Arab nation. This is the reality on the ground, whatever may be the falsehoods that Tehran's propaganda machine is churning out. The road towards legitimacy is only getting wider even as the room for the rebels to maneuver is closing in. Yemenis are already discussing a future, leaving behind the wretched months of turmoil in the Houthi and Saleh era. People are talking about reconstruction and development of a country having such a rich heritage and deep-rooted civilization – which the rebels wanted to change and establish an Iranian colony. Once legitimacy is restored, the plans for a Saudi-Yemeni free trade zone may be revived. A politically stable and economically flourishing Yemen will be back in place, pushing back the Iran-inspired months of death and destruction.
