Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir has accused Iran of supporting terrorism and meddling in the affairs of other countries. Speaking on the fringes of the Munich Security Conference, Al-Jubeir pointed out that Iran and the militias it supports were undermining the security of many countries. He said, "The Iranian regime does not respect international law and attacks diplomatic missions and embassies. Iran is bent on regime change in the Middle East. Iran is the biggest state sponsor of terrorism in the world." Al-Jubair said that Osama bin Laden's eldest son was provided a safe haven in Iran – a country which supplies ballistic missiles to the Houthis to attack Saudi territory. "They say actions speak louder than words. Iran is only talking, without any deeds. We want deeds and not words if Iran really wants a solution to the crisis," Al-Jubeir added. The Foreign Minister noted that Iran's continued aggressive behavior was a hindrance to holding any dialogue with it. The international community must punish Iran, he stressed. Al-Jubeir expressed optimism over the Trump administration's determination to find a solution to the region's crises.
