Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Friday's attack on a French security patrol near the Louvre Museum in Paris. An official source at the Foreign Ministry confirmed Saudi Arabia's solidarity with the friendly nation of France, stressing that Riyadh stands firmly against terrorism and extremism. A knife-wielding man lunged at a soldier patrolling outside the Louvre Museum and was later shot. The identity of the 29-year-old attacker has not yet been formally confirmed. A French prosecutor said the man is in a life-threatening condition, undergoing treatment at a hospital.
