The Speaker of Arab Parliament Dr. Mishaal Bin Fahem Al-Salami has affirmed the standing of Arab people by the Kingdom of Bahrain in its war against terrorism, stressing that the cowardly terrorist attack targeted yesterday the Penitentiary Centre in Bahrain's Interior Ministry, which helped the fleeing of a number of terrorists convicted in terrorist cases and killed a security man, would not deter Bahrain's people and its brave security forces in fighting against terrorism. Al-Salami in a statement today added that the world has become now aware that the one who stands behind these terrorist crimes is the Iranian regime, which has become a key supporter of terrorism to destabilize the security and stability of Bahrain and the Arab region, calling on the international community to confront this regime and its obnoxious sectarian policies. The Speaker of Arab parliament called on countries and organizations in the world to condemn this terrorist act which is contrary to all moral and human values, international conventions and national constitutions. He expressed his confidence in security and judicial authorities of Bahrain and their ability to arrest those involved in this terrorist act, praising the efforts being exerted by security agencies in the Kingdom of Bahrain aimed at maintaining its security and sovereignty.
