The International Union of Public Transport in Brussels announced the selection of Engineer Khalid Abdullah Al-Hugail as president of the International Union of Public Transport in the Middle East and North Africa (UITP-MENA). The Secretary-General of the International Union of Public Transport Alan Flaosh said that the International Union holds responsibility for a comprehensive view to improve quality and well-being of life by supporting and promoting sustainable transport solutions in urban areas through the continued development of all components. The appointment of Engineer "Al-Hugail" as a president of the International Union of Public Transport in the Middle East and North Africa reflects great importance in coincidence with great interest provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the development of the public transport system in the Kingdom.
