Minister of Economy and Planning Engineer Adel Faqih said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud drew the future vision of the next fiscal year hailing the state budget flexibility. This came during a press conference held by him today in Riyadh to talk about the state budget for the fiscal year 1437/1438 H. He highlighted efforts for increasing the efficiency of spending. The Minister of Economy and Planning said that a package of measures will be launched to facilitate the private sector activities and activate privatization programs. He stressed that since the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud took over reins of power, royal orders were issued with the aim of restructuring many governmental sectors, relieving several committees to ease the bureaucratic burden, accelerating decision-making, and establishing the Council of Economic Affairs and Development and the Council of the Political and Security Affairs. The Minister explained that the gross domestic product continues to grow with a good rate.
