Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, held talks yesterday with the Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the meeting, the Deputy Crown Prince conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Russian President. They also discussed latest international and regional developments and the situation at the Syrian arena. For his part, the Deputy Crown Prince asserted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's keenness to achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people and its supporting stance to solve the Syrian crisis peacefully in accordance with the resolutions of the Geneva Conference 1, in a way that would guarantee ending the tragedies of the Syrian people carried out by the Syrian regime and fending off continuation of the fallout of the crisis on the security and stability in the region. The meeting was attended by Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Health; Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Advisor at the Royal Court; Fahd Al-Isa, Advisor at the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the Office of the Minister of Defense and the Russian ministers of foreign affairs, defense and energy.
