Dr. Mohammed Al-Garni, Advisor to the Minister of Hajj and Chairman of Pilgrims-Guiding (Tafweej) unit, said today that pilgrims-guiding plan is composed of 12 phases, which so far proved to be successful. He said today's phase, where pilgrims are guided to leave Mina, passing the Jamarat area to reach the holy Haram in Makkah, is the eighth. Phase nine deals with the day of Sacrifice and going to and fro the slaughter houses, he explained. He said all phases were based on the capacity of the circumambulation area (Mataf), from where the eighth and tenth phases start. He explained that the capacity of Mataf is 112,000 pilgrim per hour, noting that some waiting corridors were allotted for pilgrims inside the holy Haram in addition to six guiding centers starting with Jamarat facility. He described the Tawaf agencies as his ministry's partners in the service of pilgrims. --SPS
