The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed that establishment of Israeli settlements is among the most dangerous cases threatening the peace process in the region. In the Kingdom's speech before the United Nations International Meeting on the Palestinian Cause began in Brussels, Abdurrahman bin Suleiman Al-Ahmad, Saudi ambassador to Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and Head of the Kingdom's Mission to the European Union, appealed to the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to protect the Palestinian people from the Israeli aggressive actions. He called for implementation of the Security Council resolutions no. 465 and 497 which affirm illegality of settlements, a need to dismantle the existing settlements, work to remove the Separation Wall and stopping all Israeli Judaization actions in Al-Quds.
