General Jean Qahouaji, the Commander of the Lebanese Army received the Ambassador of the Emirates to Lebanon Hamad Saeid Al-Shamsi. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, the situation in Lebanon as well as the region, in addition to the cooperation between the armies of the two countries. Later on, Gen. Qahouaji received, too, U.S. Military Attach Maj. Ilion Olmsted, who bade him farewell and introduced to him his successor Maj. Robert Gillis. During the meeting, they reviewed mechanisms to promote bilateral cooperation between the Lebanese and the U.S. armies.
