The Ministry of Interior said in a statement issued today that a Syrian national called / Ezzedine Salah Eddine Al-Saleh was found guilty and executed in Al-Jouf region on Wednesday for smuggling a large quantity of banned amphetamine pills and investigation resulted in his confession of what has been attributed to him, and referred to the General Court. The Ministry said that the General Court convicted the smuggler; the sentence was endorsed by Appeal and Supreme Courts; and a royal order was issued to carry out the sentence. The Ministry of Interior affirms that the Government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is keen to fight all forms of drugs for their serious harm against the individual and society, warning whoever tries to commit such crimes to be severely punished according to Sharia (Islamic law).
