President of the Board of Directors of the Private Organization for Guiding Pilgrims of Arab Countries, Engineer Abbas bin Abdul Ghani Qattan received here today the Assistant Egyptian Minister of Interior for Sector of Administration Affairs Major General Sayed Maher Salem, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, they discussed the services being provided to Egyptian pilgrims whose services are overseen by the Egyptian Interior Ministry and whose number amounts to about 19,000 pilgrims. Major General Sayed Salem said that the meeting discussed the services provided to pilgrims of the Arab Republic of Egypt for this year's Hajj season 1436 AH (2015 AD), pointing out that Egypt was committed by the reduction of this year, for what has been witnessed by the Two Holy Mosques of development projects in the interest of visitors to the House of Allah Almighty. He also appreciated the great services provided by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the service and comfort of the pilgrims in addition to the great role being played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in security aspects and the crowds management as well as in terms of the provision of services at one time for about three million pilgrims from across the world.
