Israeli occupation forces Wednesday seized 1,000 donums of Bayt Ummar and Bayt Fajjar towns in Hebron city in the southern West Bank. Yousef Abu Maria, Head of the National Committee against the wall and settlements in Beit Ummar said Migdal Oz settlers, along with troops, fenced off 1,000 donums of the farmers' land to expand a military college adjacent to their settlement. Farmers and land owners protested in an attempt to prevent bulldozers from razing the land but the Israeli troops had barred citizens from the district.
