President Omar Al-Bashir of the Republic of Sudan said that his country did not hesitate to participate in the 'Determination Storm' operation for fighting Houthi rebels, after their attacks on Yemenis, and threatening the security of neighboring countries and the region, stressing that the campaign will continue until they put down their arms. In a speech delivered here yesterday within the framework of his election campaign, Al-Bashir said that 'Sudan's participation in the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is carrying out the military Determination Storm campaign in Yemen was inevitable.' He added that 'We did not hesitate to join the military alliance against Houthi rebels when they attacked the Yemenis, and threatened the land of the Two Holy Mosques as well as neighboring countries, as they are aggressive sect, and that Islam called to fight the oppressive sect until committing to the command of Allah Almighty.'
