President Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan arrived in Riyadh today on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received the Afghan President at King Khalid International Airport. The Afghan President was also received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; a number of princes; ministers; and senior officials. The official delegation accompanying the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan included First Deputy Chief Executive Officer Engineer Mohammed Khan; Advisor to President for Security Affairs Hanif Atmar; Minister of Hajj and Endowments Faidh Mohammad Othmani; and a number of senior officials.
