The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his ranch in Dir'iyyah, here today the United States Secretary of State, John Kerry, and his accompanying delegation. The US Secretary conveyed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the greetings of President Barack Obama of the United States of America. For his part, the King sent his greetings to the US President. During the meeting, they discussed topics of common interest, overall events in the region, and bilateral relations between the two countries. The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, Chief of the Royal Court and Special Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. On the American side, it was attended by US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Joseph W. Westphal; Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Anne Patterson; Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Kurt Ted; the Official Spokeswoman of the US Department of State Jennifer Psaki and other officials.
