Ayoon Wa Azan (The Arabs and Muslims Are Better Off Without Him)
Published in AL HAYAT on 06 - 05 - 2011

I remember from the lessons of journalism in English that the tutors would tell us if something is redundant then don't say it, because it is something obvious and already known.
But today, I want to try and circumvent this rule by saying that the Israelis somehow insist on reminding me that they are the most arrogant people on this planet. This is something that I have stated countless times in the past to the extent that I need not repeat it, were it not for the fact that I was provoked by some of the Israeli reactions to the killing of Osama bin Laden.
But before I continue, I want to note down two important points:
Firstly, Osama bin Laden is a terrorist and the whole world, including the Arabs and the Muslims, is better off without him.
Secondly, I say ‘Israelis' in general, but I mean by it the terrorist, fascistic and racist Israeli government in power at present, and not all Israelis, who include in their ranks many peace activists, some more diligent and serious in their efforts to achieve peace than us, and others even more opposed to their government than we are.
This recent arrogance, or insolence, nonsensicality or banality, can be found in the commentaries ran by the major Israeli newspapers, written by known Israeli columnists. These defy the whole world, whose opinion on Israel is sufficient as proof to its criminality, as these commentators believe that the world has double standards, when it welcomes the killing of bin Laden and criticizes Israel when it kills its enemies.
With this, the Israeli government descends to the lowest point of arrogance. Osama bin Laden is a terrorist, but the enemies of Israel are the heroes of national liberation movements fighting an enemy that has stolen the land, murdered women, children, and dispossessed and destroyed, up to this very day.
Every member of the Israeli government is a terrorist like bin Laden or worse, and deserves the same fate as him. This is while bearing in mind that I do not support the killing of anyone. Instead, as I said yesterday, it would be sufficient for me if bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri, along with the war cabal in the Bush administration and the fascist officials of Israel, were to be all put together in the Guantanamo Bay detention center, with its key thrown in the sea. No one would die in this manner, but the whole world would be ridded of all war criminals.
The journalists, writers, and former and current politicians in Israel who wrote articles that came to the conclusions I mentioned above, are all accomplices in the crimes of the Israeli government. They deserve to join the other criminals in Guantanamo, including, before I forget, the swine rabbi Ovadia Yosef, his son and the other rabbis who share their ideas, and the settlers.
But enough with Israeli affairs; I continue instead with the Likudnik advocates of Israel abroad, who compete with the government of Israel when it comes to who is more arrogant, even when that appears to be an impossible feat. I read commentaries in their papers and websites that clearly reflect their resentment, or hatred. One of these articles was entitled “A 'Momentous Achievement". However, the title was placed between two small brackets to question the achievement. The article said that such an achievement would be incomplete without the elimination of Islamic radicalism. However, I believe that the elimination of Israeli radicalism and its advocates is more important, because were it not for this kind of radicalism, there would be no ensuing radicalism among certain Muslims.
Another article was entitled “The Credit Obama Deserves (and Doesn't) For Killing Osama”. The title spares the need for any further elaboration. This is while a third article was entitled “Why It Took Ten Years” and the correct answer is that the George W. Bush administration did not want to kill him in order to have a pretext for its wars against the Arabs and Muslims. The article's writer claimed that the reason is that Muslim leaders feared for themselves if they handed over bin Laden, as if all Muslim leaders knew where he was. Another article was entitled “Is Obama's Bin Laden Bounce Likely to Evaporate?” which is exactly what they are wishing for.
The most arrogant claim I read was that President Obama was not a gentleman and as a result, he denied Bush's role and claimed all credit for himself. But everyone knows that Bush could have taken out bin Laden but did not, and that Obama achieved in two years what his predecessor failed to accomplish in eight years.
In London, the Daily Telegraph is an influential and prestigious newspaper, and has become more objective since Lord Black and his wife, the Likudnik Barbara Amiel, left it. Its front page headline was “He Died Cowering Behind His Wife”. But an official U.S. rectification of this story was issued, saying that bin Laden was unarmed when he was killed, and that his wife attacked the U.S. soldiers and tried to protect him herself, but that she was shot in her thigh. The newspaper acted professionally, and ran the correction and highlighted it on the next day, which is something the known gang of evil does not do.
