Ayoon Wa Azan (I Have Been Provoked Enough To Respond)
Published in AL HAYAT on 29 - 04 - 2010

There is an American website that is a portal for Jewish American Likudniks, the enemies of Arabs and Muslims and the advocates of the thieving criminal state called Israel. Its activities include the so-called “Jihad Watch”, where anything and everything that can be exploited to promote Nazi-like propaganda connecting Islam to terrorism and extremism in the minds of the people is monitored.
The site is the FrontPage Magazine, and it employs a thousand new Goebbels who lie and repeat the same lie over and over again until people believe it. I often ignore the venoms found on this website, or refer to them in passing. However, sometimes I am provoked, and that is when I feel that I need to respond in kind as I am doing today.
The site recently published a story written by the impostor Likudnik Robert Spencer, entitled “See No Qur'an, Hear No Qur'an”, which is a play on the Chinese maxim on good behaviour “hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil” usually accompanied by an illustration of three monkeys, one with his hands on his ears, another with his hands on the mouth and the third on his eyes.
Thus, the site publishes a story that places the Qur'an in the same place with evil and monkeys.
I am not an extremist of any kind, and I admit that I'm not religious, but just an ordinary believer. Hence, my defence of Islam is not religious, but nationalistic, because when they attack Islam they are attacking my nation. And it seems that the Muslims have no one left to defend them but me.
The news story published on the site in which the writer insinuated that the Qur'an be replaced with evil and monkeys, was quoting a story from the Associated Press from Chicago which said: “A person close to the investigation of a shooting in Chicago that left a woman and three children dead says the gunman told the police that he committed the crime after hearing voices telling him to kill his family.”
The site claims that the news agency's story is an example of journalistic bias and obfuscation, and that it prefers the story according to the Chicago Tribune, which mentioned that “the man had converted to Islam several years ago while serving time in prison and had a dispute with his wife — one of the victims — because she would not adhere to his faith. He told police that he needed to take his family back to Allah and out of this world of sinners”.
According to the website, the affair above is one of the reasons why Jihad Watch exists.
If there is any media bias and obfuscation in the world today, it would be that which is being practiced in the United States in particular, and in the West in general, to cover up the crimes of Israel. In fact, its establishment was the original crime, and the Khazari European Jewish thieves and others are still murdering and robbing and destroying every day. The FrontPage Magazine website is a flagrant example of the most despicable kind of extremism, lying and covering up for the Israeli crime to the extent of being complicit to it.
An American man converted to Islam, and Arabic is most definitely not his language. Hence, his understanding of religion is limited. He murdered his wife and children, and became a part of the Likudnik extremist effort to monitor Islamic Jihad, as though all Muslims murder their women and children.
There is an easy way to respond provided by the internet, and I call on every reader to research it as I did and looked for the most famous mass murderers around the world, and also for school shootouts.
The BBC website gave me a list of relatively recent school shootouts from 1996, from the Dunblane school massacre until today. I found 12 massacres, half of which were perpetrated in the United States; nevertheless, I never claim that American students are criminals because they are Christian or Jewish. Nor do I say that an Arab student did not kill his colleagues because he is Muslim.
The list of massacres committed by individuals is available on Wikipedia, and it shows that the United States with its population of 300 million, witnessed 96 instances of mass murders where the killers are known, and 21 others where the killers are unknown. In fact, this American figure is approximately the equivalent of the rest of the world's figures combined, i.e. those of six billion people.
I tried to find information regarding mass murders in Arab countries, and managed to find only one instance in Egypt, which is that of Rayya and Sakina, i.e. it dates back to one hundred years ago, and these women murderers were thieves and belonged to tales of folklore. After searching for the same in Muslim countries, I found two instances in Iran and one in Pakistan.
Muslims are 1.2 billion today. The mass murders attributed to them number less than half of what has been committed in Canada (ten murders in a country with a population of 35 million). Then an American Muslim convert kills his family and becomes material for ‘Jihad Watch'.
This Likudnik extremism is in fact behind the extremist terrorism of groups like al-Qaeda, as it justifies the radicalism of others: had it not been for the crime of the establishment of Israel on Palestinian lands and at the expense of their lives, and had it not been for its ongoing crimes, al-Qaeda and other groups would not have existed in the first place.
Then an extremist Likudnik website blames us for the crime, and I am provoked enough to respond.
