How numerous are the Arab, Islamic, and Western countries that have ambitions in the wealth of the Gulf countries! How malicious they are! There are many people who still consider that the Gulf citizen is a ball of “stupidity” whose pockets are filled with money, that he has an oil barrel on his back, and that his utmost concern is to look for women. They spitefully believe that he does not deserve the Sahara land which generates black gold to him and to the world. There are countries like Iran seeking to stir up sedition and provoke turmoil in order for it to expand and take revenge, with the intention of devouring Gulf countries, as though we were living in a sea world where big fish eat the peaceful small ones. It also seems there is bickering and infighting among the Western countries over conducting deals and signing agreements with these oil-rich Gulf countries, in order to take advantage of the natural resources extracted from their soil and win “long-term” contracts. I am not an advocate of the conspiracy theory, but there are many issues that require from the Gulf Cooperation Council to remain on the lookout and increase precautionary measures, in order to curb the greedy, arrogant, and spiteful sides that are plotting against us to increase the “crises” that do not leave the region, and to keep away problems coming to us from all sides. There are “malicious” intentions plotted secretly to scatter the cards of this region, the most dangerous of which, according to reports, is Iran's endeavor to pave the way for physical liquidations through forging passports to allow the entry of spies for carrying out assassinations against political and media figures and bribing mercenaries to carry out sabotage operations. During the televised dialogue conducted by the first Saudi channel, Prince Khaled Ben Sultan Ben Abdul Aziz, the Saudi minister of defense and aviation, revealed that the Houthis were trained by two countries in the Arab and Islamic periphery, and that they stored large quantities of weapons that go beyond anyone's imagination. I believe, according to my personal analysis, that although Prince Khaled did not name these countries, he was referring to Iran and the state of Hezbollah. The latter could be described as such because it is a state within a state, with its training, planning, and carrying out of “bold” Iranian projects, to which Prince Khaled referred when he said that there are lessons drawn from the war that ended a month ago. Moreover, Dubai's Chief Police General Dahi Khalfan said that “he has information confirming the presence of spies from eastern and western nationalities working for foreign intelligence sides in the Gulf region.” He asked these spies “to leave or else they will be cracked down and strongly pursued by all the apparatuses in question,” according to the Emirati “Al-Khaleej” newspaper last Wednesday. In addition, political sources said lately that Iranian opposition activists in Paris revealed that the Iranian Intelligence developed a list of political targets to assassinate Gulf and Arab leaders, according to Kuwaiti daily “Al-Seyassah.” The politburo of the Ahwazi Islamic Organization revealed a “newly-shaped” Iranian policy in running the espionage networks and the spies of the Iranian Intelligence Ministry – the body tasked with carrying out operations outside Iran which is known as “Etlaat Bron Marz.” It explained that this dangerous policy is widespread in the Arab Gulf, especially in Kuwait, and that Iran is trying to camouflage its spies in the region through recruiting a number of Pakistani, Indian, and Afghani workers to collect information and monitor the active members and Ahwazi leaders, according to a report published by the Kuwaiti daily “Al-Watan” on March 7. Ever since President Ahmadinejad assumed the Iranian Presidency five years ago, his government has been targeting the Gulf national security and seeking to foment chaos and recruit spies. It has also been pushing members of Hezbollah, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and the mobilization forces (the basij) to destabilize the Gulf and Arab security and foment crises such as the “Persian nature” of the Arab Gulf and launch fraudulent slogan. Iran is expanding through extremist organizations, at a time when its political and sectarian project is collapsing, and its intentions and propaganda and allegations and sabotage interferences in Iraq and the Gulf and Arab countries are disclosed. This means that the Gulf and Arab Governments should work hard to uncover the names of agents, spies, and advocates of the expansionist project, so as to besiege its schemes before the region turns into fire and ashes.
