The braves of the world should recognize the Palestinian State

The Israeli security is always on the top list of any American agenda as if Israel is a country without nuclear
and advanced weapons which gets the latest American arsenal new weapon. We do not know what the security
parameters are, and whether Israel, which had occupied Arab territories before the Palestinian territories, is under
any threat? While it remains the only country NATO is will declare nuclear war if threatened.
Israel had occupied Beirut, destroyed Gaza, violated several Arab capitals and hunted, killed and kidnapped its so-
called “list of wanted”. It has managed to get away with breaching the international laws several times without being

recognize the Palestinian state. However. A moral courage requires a similar stand, otherwise, what is the point for
the Palestinians asking the UN to recognize their State only for the European to thwart their effort? It is rather sad
that no initiatives were introduced by the sympathetic non-aligned, Islamic world and third world countries. Such
initiatives will avoid the United Nations routine and will embarrass the West and the United States. This could
be a morale reason due to a political fear of deliberating with the West in such sensitive issue. If the will of the
international community is rallied, the pressure from supporters of Israel will not be as strong as we may think, as
interests will not be sacrificed. This is a delusion, which has reinforced the strength of Israel and gave it the image
feared by far more stronger and more influential countries.
Israel deals with America's initiatives to peace from the point of its regional role and the imperatives which makes
it act as a superpower. This is evident from the intensified language between Netanyahu and Obama, with the latter
cannot get the Israeli to comply with or implement the international resolutions. His predecessors tried that before
but failed. Perhaps the reason for statements and speeches is to give the impression the feeling that the region is not
blindly following the American direction or giving in to its threats. The prospects of objective understanding of the
Arab affairs is still under testing as they have the feeling that more surprises are still to come that may serve their
interests and that of Israel. The alternative scenario, on the other hand, is the developing of new serious, advance
Arab concepts opposing to the traditional subdue concepts.
