In an earlier meeting I referred to a wired female lawyer who lives in an Arab country and has stated that “citizens have no right to object to any security officer interference in their affairs neither ask why he was detained”?. Today, people view through satellite broadcasting and the web the “shell” which is a story of the Christian writer Mustafa Khalifa in which he is telling the story of his life, how and why he was imprisoned. The follow-up to this issue through the broadcasting channels shows that at the time of his arrest, the man had the name and appearance of an Islamic committed character with the name Mostafa Khalifa certainly combining an Islamic definition with the long beard adds to that perception. There was a clash between the Muslim Brotherhood and the State at the time. He was imprisoned purely because of his figure and name, not based on legal reasons to justify his fifteen long years behind bars. Interestingly, in the biography of this man's life, is that he was avoiding manifestations of Christianity in any form, and he and many others similar to him were seeking an equal citizenship more than conflicting with Muslims. As strange as it sounds we find it odd that a Christian is trying to have a Muslim name and figure while for fifty years Arabs falling behind did not stop at this point. We are now experiencing a conflict between competing Sunni and Shiite, both Muslims, but denying each other the right to be in one definition. I remember when I addressed the manifestations of this back fall prevailing in the Middle East, backed by Iran, I mentioned that Europe has emerged from this conflict by at least a hundred years ago, and I was surprised a woman send me a message which reminds me that the Western world has gone through the most brutal conflicts. This is undeniable truth, but how we are now and how the West has developed?. The question is not how to reach as far as the West when conflict stopped, but it extends to the question: Why is Arab Muslims continue to fall back while there are facing non-Muslims?
