Prince Mesha'l Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Najran Province inaugurated here on Sunday evening Investment Forum and Exhibition entitled ' 'The land of unlimited opportunities'. In an opening ceremony, he emphasized that Najran Province has been witnessing during this prosperous era many developmental projects, adding that the Province has a large number of promising investment projects.The Prince announced the establishment of Najran Holding Company for Development and Investment to support the economic and investment movement in the Province. n his speech, the Governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Amr bin Abdullah Al-Dabbagh said that companies having foreign capitals and wishing to establish projects in Najran Province will be awarded incentives associated with the rehabilitation and employment of Saudi cadres through the deduction of 50% from the costs of training and employment of Saudis, 50% from the costs of research and development, and 50% of the values of capital investment from taxes. He announced the establishment of Comprehensive Services Center in Najran Province, similar to other centers in the Kingdom's provinces, to provide services and facilities for the establishment of investment projects. Al-Dabbagh indicated that SAGIA prepares annually 'The Index of Provincial Investment Environment' to assess investment and economic environment competitiveness of various provinces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On his part, the Deputy of Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Mineral Resources Affairs Eng. Sultan bin Jamil Al-Shaoli stressed in his speech the importance of the generous support provided by the Saudi leadership to the promising mineral sector, pointing to a number of indicators of successes in increasing mining opportunities and the quantities of extracted raw materials. He stressed that the Ministry has given attention for studying Najran Province, adding that areas rich in gold, silver, granite, limestone, and gypsum have been located, calling on investors to make the Province as a strategic goal for their investments.
